1. The service

GoThai provides self-guided Thai lessons, vocabulary review, lesson audio, English–Thai text and photo translation, and optional speech practice. Free access currently includes the first three course units. Pro adds all course units, offline translation pack downloads, and more online translations, as described before purchase.

Features may need a connection, compatible browser, storage, device permissions, or a download. Online translation and speech depend on third-party services and are subject to usage and reasonable rate limits. Pro does not promise unlimited online requests. We may adjust limits to protect availability and prevent abuse; material changes to paid benefits will be communicated as required by law.

Offline access covers cached resources and installed translation models. Saving lesson completion, reviews, and account changes to our servers requires a connection. Browser storage may be cleared or evicted. Installed translation resources may remain usable after membership expires, but new membership-gated downloads require an active subscription. Saved translations are stored only in the current browser and are not backed up to your account. Clearing site data removes them. Downloads do not guarantee permanent access or storage.

2. Accounts and eligibility

You may start as a guest. Sign in to keep learning across browsers and devices; a signed-in, non-guest account is required to purchase Pro. Provide accurate information and protect your email, sign-in codes, and device. Contact us about suspected unauthorized use.

You must be at least 13, or the higher minimum age required locally. If you have not reached the age to enter a binding agreement, a parent or legal guardian must authorize your use. Purchases require the legal capacity and authorization required by the checkout provider.

3. Pro subscriptions and payment

The membership panel shows available plans, prices, currency, billing periods, and whether additional taxes apply. The total payable is shown at checkout. Monthly plans are billed each month; annual plans are billed once a year. Unless you cancel, subscriptions renew automatically and the applicable recurring charge is collected through the checkout provider.

Creem acts as merchant of record and contractual reseller for purchases through its checkout. Its Buyer Terms and Privacy Notice apply to checkout and billing. GoThai delivers the product and product support. For Creem transactions, its Buyer Terms prevail over conflicting purchase provisions here; mandatory consumer rights continue to apply.

Membership attaches to the account used at checkout and becomes available after payment confirmation. Returning from checkout alone does not confirm payment. Failed or unpaid transactions do not grant membership. When the app or checkout is marked “Test mode,” payments are simulations and no real payment is collected.

We will give notice of material subscription price or paid-service changes before they apply where required by law. You can cancel future renewal if you do not wish to continue under changed terms.

4. Cancellation

Sign in to the purchasing account, open You → GoThai Pro → Manage subscription, and cancel renewal in the Creem Customer Portal. You may also use the portal link in your purchase email. If you cannot access either, contact support@gothai.cc for help before your next renewal.

Cancel before the next billing date shown in the portal to stop future renewal. Membership normally remains available until the end of the already-paid period shown in your account. Cancellation stops future charges; it does not itself refund completed payments. Signing out, deleting the app, clearing browser data, or requesting account deletion does not automatically cancel a subscription.

5. Refunds and payment problems

Request a refund at support@gothai.cc with your account email, order or receipt reference, and a description of the issue. Do not send full card details or sign-in codes. Contact us promptly about duplicate charges, access not delivered after successful payment, or a material failure of the paid service.

Eligibility is assessed according to the purchase terms, the issue, and applicable consumer law. Other requests are reviewed individually; we do not offer an unconditional money-back guarantee or automatic prorated refunds for unused time. Creem processes refunds for its purchases through its procedures and payment providers. If an issue remains unresolved, you may contact Creem through its support or customer portal.

Nothing here excludes statutory remedies, applicable withdrawal or cancellation rights, or mandatory consumer protections. Any legally required consent to early delivery of digital content and acknowledgment concerning withdrawal rights must be obtained in the applicable purchase flow; reading this page does not waive those rights.

6. Learning and translation accuracy

Lessons, pronunciation feedback, translations, and recognized photo text may contain errors or omit context. We do not guarantee fluency, certification, native-level accuracy, or a particular learning result. Verify important translations with a qualified person. Do not rely on GoThai alone for medical, legal, financial, immigration, emergency, or other high-stakes decisions. Travel guidance and contact information can change; check official sources.

7. Acceptable use and your content

Use GoThai for lawful learning and translation. You must have the rights and permissions needed for submitted text, photos, and recordings, including other people’s personal information. You retain your rights in submissions and give us only the permission needed to process them for requested features, as explained in our Privacy Policy.

• Do not submit unlawful, exploitative, abusive, or infringing content, including child sexual abuse material, or use the service to harm, harass, or defraud others.
• Do not bypass account controls, payment restrictions, download permissions, or usage limits; share or resell account access; or use GoThai as an unauthorized translation API or bulk processing service.
• Do not attack the service, introduce malware, interfere with other users, or extract and redistribute protected course materials, audio, or downloads without permission.

Photo translation recognizes and translates text in an image. GoThai does not provide general-purpose AI image or video generation, face swapping, or deepfake tools.

8. Intellectual property

Software, branding, course materials, artwork, and audio belong to their respective rights holders. You receive a limited, personal, non-exclusive right to use the service and downloads as intended, subject to these terms and your subscription where applicable. Open-source components and third-party resources keep their own licenses; relevant notices accompany the app or downloads. These terms do not transfer ownership to you.

9. Availability and ending use

We maintain and update GoThai but cannot guarantee uninterrupted operation or compatibility with every device. We may restrict access for security threats, fraud, serious violations, unpaid subscriptions, or legal requirements. We will act proportionately and give notice where reasonably possible and legally required.

You can stop using the service and request account deletion at support@gothai.cc. Cancel renewal separately or ask us for help. If we discontinue a paid service or materially fail to provide it, applicable refund and consumer remedies remain available.

10. Responsibility and consumer rights

To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided on an “as available” basis without guarantees beyond those expressly stated. We are not responsible for failures outside our reasonable control or losses caused by misuse of translations or loss of local browser storage, except where applicable law requires otherwise. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including fraud, intentional misconduct, or mandatory consumer guarantees.

11. Changes, disputes, and contact

We may update these terms as the service changes. We publish the new version and date here and give notice or seek agreement to material changes where required. Changes do not remove rights you already have under applicable law.

For questions or disputes, contact support@gothai.cc so we can work toward a resolution. Your mandatory local consumer protections and rights to bring a claim before a competent court remain unaffected. Disputes about Creem checkout and billing are also subject to its Buyer Terms.
